Ashington have confirmed the signing of Connor Thompson from Morpeth.
Connor, who was on loan at Woodhorn Lane last season made a big impact, finishing the season as the Colliers top scorer, and has decided to make the move permanent.
Great news for Ashington, not such good news for the opposition defences he terrorised last season

Jordan Summerley has committed himself to the Colliers for next season.
Fantastic news, struggled with injuries last season, but when fit he's a top left back and a key player for Ashington. He was certainly missed in the second half of last season.

Paul Robinson has returned to the Colliers for next season.
Robbo was a key player in our promotion season and returns following a season away.
Great addition to an already strong squad. Ashington looking increasingly like play-off contenders

Ashington looking increasingly like play-off contenders robinson and ormston the oldest midfield pair in the northern premier league I don't think Gaz will play that often to be honest, he's on the coaching staff and I think he'll be used sparingly. Robbo is still a great player, and was a key part of the run in during our promotion season. He's as fit as someone 10 years younger and still has a lot to offer.
