How many times in the past have these sort of takeovers gone tits up. What I don't get is why Blyth have thought differently. From the very beginning it all looked to good to be true. I'm sorry to say to the fans but you've been had here folks. Doomed is the word. Like someone has stated a little bit of homework would have nailed this. Northern league beckons. The way it looks, Northern League would be a success. I genuinely think they could cease to exist in the near future.

If someone has about 10 or so inactive companies at one address where they're a single board member, especially if it's just a rental office then they're a wrong un. Same as Cala at Gateshead and Coxall at Pools. Chris Tanner formerly of Durham City is also a fan of this I think, he owns a PO box in Qatar if I remember rightly. If an internet journo can find this stuff out, how come existing owners fail to do some basic checking before selling up cause sure as hell a shyster is not putting up his own cash! I think it will be like gateshead and as said above pools where the outgoing owners just wanted the club off there hands and im sure must have been suspicious but a case of not there problem anymore

Yeah thats a very bizare statement. Who complains to a club about fans complaining. If the rumour mill is in full swing not suprised if theres next to no communication from the club

Hot air and bluster, the usual tools of the shyster

If this is how he reacts to comments online I'd hate to see how he'd react in the real world.

Communication is always key, they may be working hard behind the scenes with contracts, signings etc but if you don’t tell people that, then they are going to complain.

Blyth Spartans have now cancelled their away friendly against Blyth Town.
Poor show cancelling a friendly which would be a big pay day for an NL team.

Could it possibly be that the Spartans wonderful and perfect new owner is a bit concerned about the verbals from supporters

I'd try and get all that Danglies out the way then try and kick on when the season starts. Knocking friendlys back could have a massive impact on league gates.

If the fans are peed off with new owner then canning a friendly against another local club will hardly improve relations and is even worse pr for him, does not make sense

The Blyth Town friendly has been re-arranged for Tuesday 23rd July. I understand that the game was always going to be rearranged after the first date was cancelled, and with the agreement of Blyth Town, and not because of the indignation expressed here!

What made you so sure the game was always going to be rearranged. The indignation expressed here as you so wish to put it was because there was no reason given to the initial postponement and with what's going on at the club or more to the point what isn't the situation didn't look to good.
