The people who ran the club into the ground. The folk who blatantly lied to the faithful fans. Or do you condone folk that tell lies. Sounds like you do to me windy. I don't agree with them returning to NL1 I am allowed that opinion aren't I or is it windys way or the highway. Can't really argue with that, tbh. Although it does come across as taking it out on the people who have been left to clear up the mess. Things are going to be done much more transparently from now on so I don't know what more can be done. I don't know if I've set the link up below correctly*, but there's a short film up on YouTube for anyone interested called "Marske United - The Rebuild" which gives an indication of the mess that needed sorting out. I'm happy to say that it has been and all that's left now is which league we're to be placed in, which brings us full circle. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOGMy9fcO28* Oh, I have. I've just watched it, and have to say it's a bit disingenuous when talking about why they were in debt. They imply it's because of the expense of being in the NPL Premier, when really (if I remember from the statement put out earlier in the year) they were losing £5k per week while still paying £7.5k pw in players wages. They were unable to cut this as they had 18 players under contract.

I’ll clear up a lot of what your all talking about
Firstly what’s happened at Marske the last few years I can’t really comment as we are like most of you guys only saw from an outside. Yes we have been informed now of what went on, but going forward we want a fresh start and look to the future not the past. Whatever league we are placed in is totally out of our control, and where we want to be placed again is out of our control. All kas and wardy want to do is bring football back to Marske united and bring the fans back, back like when kas and skell played for them, play for the manager and the club. Regarding a comment why didn’t Redcar Newmarket step in half way through the season, because after the Darlo fiasco at the start of the season we promised the committee that we would stick by Newmarket all season. The managers had opportunities to jump ship to go higher but they believed if they stuck by it not only would they keep there word the right opportunity would arise. This is not a merger, just because the Marske United board have appointed skelly and kas I would like to think it’s cos 2 ex players have done well in their first few years of management. Because they all agreed at Newmarket this would be the last season regardless because playing on a school field limited us going up. Will we be taking some of the Newmarket lads? yeah of course because some of them should have been playing higher anyway but again they made promises and kept them which shows what sort of lads they are. We just wanted to post something as we like reading this as sometimes it’s educational sometimes it’s just funny. I won’t be getting into anymore back and forth I just want to say I know people may be “fuming” wherever marske are placed but please remember skelly and kas just wanted to manage higher and want to bring good times back. I’ll say it one more time for the people at the back Redcar Newmarket is in no way shape or form associated with Marske United other than the managers used to manage there and a few players may sign players who deserved a shot after being unbeaten once in 2 seasons

Well im going to say it’s fact considering I was sent a message by the Marske managers to come on here and tell you all the above so you can all stop saying it’s some kind of merger

Not sure how personal opinions are irrelevant on a football forum! I thought that was the whole point. As stated before I’d guess many people are challenging and disagreeing with the rules. I mean what is the definition of sustainability? Would dunston be able to sustain where they are without the financial support of UTS. I thought you'd be allowed an opinion on a forum. To say it's irrelevant is a bit harsh. I get what your saying like windy but if my opinion was irrelevant then why do you keep replying to it. Just saying like. The forum is absolutely the right place to moan about x,y & z. I’m not trying to say there’s anything wrong with that. What I’m trying to say, that opinions are irrelevant in what happens to Marske, the only thing that matters is what the FALC decides to do. I may agree with most of what you are saying, but it’s not going to change a single thing.

So updated first post and 22 teams in each league - didn't expect Kendal to come into the league at all
