So annoying, Just as pitches were starting to look a bit better we get another load of rain and back to square 1.

Must be so frustrating for groundsmen/ volunteers who are fighting a loosing battle at the moment.

They aren’t really drying out, they are just getting to a point where the standing water is gone.

Water table still so high, so the slightest bit of rain puts it back to the starting point.

Need at least a week (minimum), of dry weather but also for temperatures to increase.

Forecast for the weekend is lovely.  Dry, sunny and temperatures into the mid teens.
