It's quite common knowledge within circles, if they get promoted via play offs great for them but let's be totally honest, they have too much work to do regarding the ground, at this current moment in time But this season and possibly next they are too far ahead of schedule, because it's one thing scrapping past the ground grading it's another making it good enough, that should they ever get promoted to step 3 (once they are in step 4) they aren't rushing around meeting trying to meet deadlines So they do have plans? But want it to be step 3 standard? Sorry I’m confused, is that what you are saying? They don't have plans for promotion this season, due to costs of trying upgrade to avoid a North Shields situation. The plans are in place for the future seasons (2025+)

I'm not sure if clubs have considered installing a roof. Just watching Real Madrid game now and they now have one on Bernabeau. Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and Shalke also spring to mind.
Could be an idea and would certainly be a good solution long term for clubs.
Not sure if FA grants are something clubs could look to.

We asked the inspector who did our graiding what we would need to do once we finish the hard standing we would need 2 turnstiles and another 50 seater covered stand , or we could do as we have done for step 5 and extend the existing stand to accommodate 150. I think we will probably put another 50 seater on the clubhouse side . Not forgetting we would need new infilled barriers So that is achievable . Little surprised by that, would thought a bit more was needed, would imagine that you'd do a bit more to generally improve the ground, only been 3 or 4 times to Birtley, so it's just like bits and pieces Mind I've heard great things about the food after the game! We have and will continue to improve our ground. We feel ourselves there has been great strides since we returned to the club and eventually took the club over . I don’t know how long it is since you have been . When we arrived the club was certainly heading for relegation with loads to do to meet the the minimum requirements . There was no clubhouse not enough toilets and the ground in general was a mess. Hopefully we can keep on improving going forward.[ Forgot we need infilled barriers in aswel br] Regarding Heaton you are way off the mark. They have already put new infilled barriers up which tells me they are ambitious.

Given only our Directors are privy to what our plans are, I do admire the effort For complete clarity - if the Team get promoted on merit, the Club will match their ambition off the pitch. It's as simple as that. We have a number of "plans"

How’s it arrogant? I’m asking a simple question about the state of each club’s grounds and what they would have to do if they were promoted. I’ve got no agenda and no axe to grind against any club. I’m genuinely interested and think your response is a little over the top tbh Wow.come on windy it was a frigging tongue in cheek comment as I was shot down in flames for saying something similar a couple of days earlier. It wasn’t said by me and I try not to be knob to anyone on this site. It doesn’t have the type of characters on this site like the NLM forum and I’ve bit on there a few times tbh. Anyway, don’t worry about it. But I’m still interested in finding out what each club has in place right now and hopefully the discussions can head in that direction

What plans did north shields have, total joke, no effort at all to even start work, just a load of very odd statements
