How’s it arrogant? I’m asking a simple question about the state of each club’s grounds and what they would have to do if they were promoted. I’ve got no agenda and no axe to grind against any club. I’m genuinely interested and think your response is a little over the top tbh Wow.come on windy it was a frigging tongue in cheek comment as I was shot down in flames for saying something similar a couple of days earlier. fully agree with windy on this one !

Looking at the top 5 and assuming Bishop Auckland eventually wins the league. Obviously Shildon have invested in their ground for the reasons mentioned. If the other 3 sides in the current top 5(Birtley, West and Heaton Stan) make it to the playoffs. Can someone grade them in regards to their respective grounds and their suitability at step 4? Heaton and Birtley would alot of work to do, I think West Auckland don't have as much (they will need replace the brick around the pitch) I've been told that Heaton have no plans on going up, but are stilling for it, it would cost too much do between now and next march, I'd expect them to do some work this off season to be in a better position

I was in no way having a dig at the 2 clubs mentioned.was a response to someone having a go because of an anti bishop agenda.you just took it upon yourself to cause an argument

I’d suggest from that I’ve seen over the last few years they seem to be doing the exact opposite!

Yeah, Heaton have made incredible progress off the pitch over the last couple of years and it's easily one of the best grounds to visit in the NL.

I think we will probably put another 50 seater on the clubhouse side . So that is achievable .

If I am honest I was a little underwhelmed when visiting Heaton for the first time earlier this season. Impressive bar but not much else ground wise. Very basic. Good side though.

It's quite common knowledge within circles, if they get promoted via play offs great for them but let's be totally honest, they have too much work to do regarding the ground, at this current moment in time But this season and possibly next they are too far ahead of schedule, because it's one thing scrapping past the ground grading it's another making it good enough, that should they ever get promoted to step 3 (once they are in step 4) they aren't rushing around meeting trying to meet deadlines

But want it to be step 3 standard? Sorry I’m confused, is that what you are saying?

Little surprised by that, would thought a bit more was needed, would imagine that you'd do a bit more to generally improve the ground, only been 3 or 4 times to Birtley, so it's just like bits and pieces Mind I've heard great things about the food after the game!
