How dare you you arrogant person?!!!!! How’s it arrogant? I’m asking a simple question about the state of each club’s grounds and what they would have to do if they were promoted. I’ve got no agenda and no axe to grind against any club. I’m genuinely interested and think your response is a little over the top tbh Think someone's been on the lcl in elm Road club 🤔

Looking at the top 5 and assuming Bishop Auckland eventually wins the league. Obviously Shildon have invested in their ground for the reasons mentioned. If the other 3 sides in the current top 5(Birtley, West and Heaton Stan) make it to the playoffs. Can someone grade them in regards to their respective grounds and their suitability at step 4? Think Birtley could do have the room to do it, would probably need more seating but I'm not sure as they have two stands, they have a pretty good clubhouse that you could probably extend too. West are probably the best of those three ground wise, but would probably still need stuff doing, Heaton would honestly struggle to be step 4 eligible, a quick browse of street view would probably explain why. That said I've been to Grimsby Borough and that was an absolute dump so who knows. Carlton Town and Brighouse Town make good learning experiences as well!!! If Bishops think only bad pitches exist in the Northern League they'll be seething in the NPL

We would need put another 50 seater stand up or extend our seated stand to 150 and would need 2 turnstiles installed .

Bit off topic but any news yet on how many are getting relegated from the 1st and 2nd division. I heard yesterday that marske will be placed in Northern League Division 2. Just wondering how this may effect relegations. To me they shouldn't be anywhere near the Northern league just yet but such is life.

I have heard nothing about Marske yet, They have new managers in place and rumours are the Redcar Newmarket team will also follow. Its an absolute disgrace if they are in the NL next year. Should be put into the NR league and take the place of the reserve team.

Nothing will be confirmed until next month, but pretty much everyone seems to think we'll be placed in NL 2nd Division and that's been the rumour for months. All debts have been paid off and the club wasn't wound up so we're still Marske United and not AFC Marske or Marske 1956 or whatever. New board in place and have already shown themselves to be more transparent and prudent than what we had before. Hoping to get my programme shop back as well. Don't see what else can be done tbh, harsh lessons have been learned. There won't be the punishment element so theoretically we could be placed anywhere from NPL Division 1 East to North Riding 1st, given Newmarket would have been promoted into NL2 from the North Riding Premier if they were to continue then that seems to be the "best fit". Mind you, this is the FA we're talking about so who knows what they'll decide. We would get utterly rinsed in the NPL East but the seethe would be tremendous if we were placed there. I'm just happy to still have a club to support, the end of last year is something I wouldn't wish on anyone.

I think the main gripe is that if an additional club are relegated from the NL to accommodate Marske . I was told there could be a worst case scenario of 3 relegated from Div 2 . If that happens then the club 3rd from bottom will rightly ask questions as to why they weren’t reprieved and they place Marske in Div 2. Don’t think it’s anyway personal against Marske .

Always the case in these scenarios, that’s it more to do with others that are affected by the decisions rather than the actual club.
