Our game vs RCA is 7:30pm. I still have no idea why it says 7:45pm on the NL website.

Guisborough Town v Kendal FC replay is on Wednesday 7 August KO 19.45. Thanks for that, changed the game to a Wednesday now .... and Kendal aren't playing two games in one night (though it might help with travelling expenses at bit ). The game at Crook will be postponed.

I was at West v Blue Star tonight. First 15 mins both teams were awful defensively but then BS ran away with it. 2-1 to them at half time with the West goal coming from a pen following a defensive howler. 4 booked first half , all for niggley fouls, nothing malicious, and one from each side red carded 2nd half, seemingly for gobbing off at the ref (who was card happy and picky).
I've been to quite a few games at West over the past 6 years and that looked like a very low crowd despite a good turn out of away fans; worrying times for West on tonights showing

Shildon 3 Boro Rangers 5.
Wow. Shildon scoring first from a penalty (thought it looked a bit soft?) and scored another soon after, Rangers then scored to reduce the deficit but within milliseconds the score was 3-1. On the cusp of halftime however an event occurred which changed the games entire nucleus when Shildon were reduced to ten for a challenge I personally didn't see, but many were saying looked soft (two wrongs make a right? Would be interested to hear from anyone who was at this game.). Rangers despite been 3-1 down certainly didn't look finished at half time.
Second half initially saw Shildon extremely dominant with nearly all possession. I had the vibe though that Rangers wouldn't allow the man advantage to go to waste. On the 71st minute Shildon literally imploded, conceding 3 goals in 5 minutes to make it 3-4 and Rangers finished the night scoring in the 85th minute. Some amazing play from both sides, but the pace of Rangers within that 5 minute spell was crazy. I've seen Rangers many times and I'm surprised Steven Keenan, Callum Hickman and Stuart Rose especially (hattrick) have never moved elsewhere. They seem just as good in Div 1 as they were in Div 2 when I first seen. Shildon, for a team that lost 3-1, actually played very well, Leighton Harris as active as ever.

Watched Washington 0-1 Jarrow. Bottom V Top.
Tight game as both sides had their chances first half, Jarrow probably closest as a tackle on their forward bounced onto the post, although Washington will be disappointed not to score when their forward had a great chance.
Second half opened up a bit and the goal came via a bit of a defensive howler, allowing a tap in. Washington responded by putting big lads up front but the Jarrow defence soaked it all up.
Overall a pretty even game although, in my opinion, Washington need to learn not to give the ball away so many times.

Darlington Town 2 Alnwick Town 2
Game of two halves at Eastbourne Sports Complex. Darlington more fluid and possessive in the first half where former Newton Aycliffe talisman Liam Jarvie got a brace. The second half saw Alnwick grow more confident scoring early on to make it 2-1, in the 85th minute an Alnwick header made the away side take a point back to Northumberland. Thought Alnwick looked much more improved than on Saturday. Darlington Town didn't impress too much after the first half really.

Attendance 205, must have counted everyone twice! . Shildon are notorious for skimming the figure off crowds. Anywhere from 280 to 400 for a league game. And as soon as its the fa cup or vase boooom nobody turns up .I wonder why ? Answers on a post card!!
