Worst
Blyth Spartans - Rancid burger and chips. Chips so raw they were white. Burger tepid. Had raging stomach ache for two whole days. Should note this was from a burger van.
Grimsby Borough - Absolutely microscopic burger, should have been called "meatball in a bun", was about 3.50 as well.
Hereford FC - Well I wish I could write a review except they didn't serve any food in the away end. Disappointing consider it's the supposed cattle capital of England. You think they could strike a deal with a local butcher? There's a few NL teams who don't do food now which I won't knock, but someone as big as Hereford really ought to have food on the go.
Wembley - For a national stadium, the indoor food options for the Non League Finals are very poor, no vegetarian options, which, for a capital and over 60k stadium is extremely poor. It's been the same menu for years too, chicken and chips combo and nothing else.
York City - I'm going to make a price related analogy involving Dick Turpin.
Marske United - Stone cold hotdog. (Will admit this was absolutely years ago now).
Coxhoe - Another stone cold hotdog. (Granted I didn't expect much at a Wearside League ground so credit for them doing food).
Whitby - Manky and expensive burger.
Consett - Didn't seem to have any food at all first time I visited afew years ago, they do now however, and they served me a chicken burger drier than the Gobi Desert.
Best
Stockton Town - Brilliant parmo burger. Hotdogs average.
Queen of The South - Nice and peppery Scotch pies.
Willington - Nothing thrillng yet always found this place good value with good chip portion sizes and nice burgers, they were almost square sausage (lorne sausage) still a few years ago.
Redcar Town - Last year they did a nice selection of breakfast meals for their early kick off against Billingham Town. A selection of cheese toasties and bacon sarnies.
Hebburn - Had very nice burgers season before last but seem to have changed, not as nice now but still good.
Boldon CA - Much like Willington, cheap yet very nice and a large range as well. Had very nice burger here with crispy onion rings once.
Blyth Town - Unlike their near neighbors, a large range of nice food, had some crispy chicken nuggets here.
Grantham Town - The Gingerbread Burger. Not the highest quality meat but can't argue with what you get for the price. York City would probably want £30 for it.
Darlington FC - Incredible pulled pork and chips.
Ashington - Used to just be a cafe hut, think they had nice sausage rolls though. Now they have a food truck, very nice chicken nuggets here and a big menu to boot.
Ossett United - Best pork pie I've ever had sourced from a local farm butcher.
Winterton Rangers - Large and varied menu, had chicken nuggets which were nice.
Chester FC - Giant sausage roll was nice but gave me raging indigestion which isn't great on a long trip out!
Stocksbridge Park Steels - Like Ossett, brilliant pastries from a local butcher. Brilliant sausage roll.
West Auckland Town - Really good curry and chicken but also very nice steak burgers.
Gainsborough Trinity - Had a nice small refreshing tub of mint ice cream in the clubhouse.
Bradford (Park Avenue) - Chunky well made home cooked wedges and generous portions too.
Northallerton - Incredible burger.
Pickering - Nice sausage roll.
