North Shields on the scrounge again asking for two grand for seats for their Clubhouse instead of playing the friendlies in Yorkshire the money they spent on the bus could have went towards their chairs They have money in the kitty surely off the scrounging they done last year for ground improvements that didn't happen. The league will probably lend it to them. They seem to have a soft spot for North Shields.

I wonder what Everton are doing with fixtures and fittings from Goodison when they move
I think a few clubs benefitted from Sunderland’s refurb and acquired seats
If Toon build a new ground , there may be 52,000 seats going
Not a pop at Shields , but clubs need to think outside the box
Barrow acquired two stands from Commonwealth games to comply

Tow Law got their stand seats from Feethams, but it appears that North Shields are after Clubhouse seats

I think that the OP said chairs for the clubhouse, not for the stand. Or maybe I misunderstood.
Still, a bit of a cheek.

The old red benches were better I think that's why bishop sold them .way past there best .but better then the rotten scaffolding planks what they were using !

Shildon also got a new covered terrace on the opposite side from Bishops back at the same time. Bishops' have done quite a bit of improvement work at Dean Street in the recent past.

Not 100% relevant but around 1962 South Shields bought the old floodlights from Roker Park and 100-200 plush seats from a closed cinema to put in the new main stand. Poshest most comfortable seats in the country....

I take it the ground improvements they were asking people to donate towards to prevent demotion from the NPL have still never happened?
I’m sure fully infilling the barrier around the pitch was one of the improvements required and you can see from photos that this clearly hasn’t been done.
They told the NPL the funding was in place for the improvements in a last ditch attempt to avoid the demotion. So was this not true or did the proposed funder withdraw when demotion was confirmed? Or is the money ring fenced for ground improvements?
What was done with the money collected from the general public donations? Ring fenced or spent?
