Whitby retained the Tony Lee memorial trophy in front of a good gathering of home and visiting fans on Saturday.
Bishops impressed in the eraly stages and took the lead when Jake Hackett hit a free kick which bounced in off Shane Bland.
Whitby grew into the game and equalised before half time, going on to score two further goals in the second half.
By all accounts a good afternoon, good game, both sides playing their parts at times.
Next up for Bishops its the solitary home friendly v National League North Darlington FC - now this Friday evening 7.30pm kick off (Moved forward from Saturday due to Policing concerns).

A brilliant day was had and a cracking game of football. Bishops edged the first half but Whitby ended the strongest. I was impressed with Bishops considering 7 of their players have barely played together. Tony Lee would have been a proud man.

Not been to any friendlies so far and will probably only get to Friday evenings vs Darlington. Who has impressed you in Bishops side so far?
