When it peed down all winter and folk wanted the season to be played in the summer. Aye great shout. Not. Exactly, the league aint responsible for rotten summer weather. Theres always improvements to be made on drainage etc but even the best pitches will faul foul to todays rotten weather

It only goes so far and if it is invested / used intelligently it can reap a lot more rewards - something that has been brilliantly applied at Bishops by the directors ect.

You can use it however way you want. Put it on red or black. My point stands not every club gets left a load of money to look after there pitch.

Undoubtedly a good committee at Bishop, but itβs the lads who keep clubs going who only have a fraction of Bishop income, that stand head and shoulders above some of the rest.
