Hopefully not. Did you guys get the drainage issue resolved with Northumbria Water at Birtley? Wonβt know until next downpour. Apparently thereβs faults in the main system outside our ground thatβs the main problem. Looking into a pumping station if we can get some help via a grant .

A few heavy showers from time to time over the weekend but surely nothing too significant for games to be called off?! Saw pics of Bishops pitch the other day which looks like a bowling green.

Saw pics of Bishops pitch the other day which looks like a bowling green. Nothing called off that I know of . Benfield v Ryton was abandoned on the hour due to torrential rain

We had a heavy thunderstorm in Blyth on Saturday which knocked my telly signal out so I missed most of the first half of the England game. So it wasnβt all bad news.

After all they would be closer to Middlesbrough. Remember, it is Boro who are lucky to have Heritage Park to call on for their Youth sides. Bishops of course are happy to accommodate them as long as we are not losing any money. Makes for a good relationship.
