Well something very strange happened at the Dunston v Gateshead pre season game tonight, 2 cars came onto the pitch at half time and were doing donuts (1 was a hearse of all the vehicles to be used) and then the person who was in the hearse got out into the other car and then went in the 4x4 and then drove out of the ground, i don't know how they got in the first place!
There is footage of this going around and pictures of leaflets about some alleged things which i wont put on here what was on it just in case
Hopefully no one was hurt at all
Oh, the game was abandoned at half time

Following the events at The UTS Stadium last night, the 21st July 2023. The club would like to make the following statement. ‘We are all deeply saddened at the events that took place last night. Thankfully nobody was physically hurt or injured. The club would like to put on record that one individual named on the leaflets distributed* during the pitch invasion, have had no connection with Dunston UTS FC, in any official capacity, for over 2 years. The other individual has no connection with our club whatsoever. We stress, we are a family orientated community club and apologise for any distress felt by our supporters and visitors, particularly the younger fans. We will be working as hard as ever to repair the damage caused to our pitch and perimeter fencing and look forward to the forthcoming season. At this point as it is a live investigation the club will be making no further comments. dunstonutsfc.co.uk

Any idea how much damage is likely to cost? Have seen they are trying to raise 10k which seems excessive

Well there was fencing/pitch so that isn't cheap - this is from the justgiving page "However, after tireless hard work and efforts from the Dunston’s groundsman and staff improving the pitch and facilities for the forthcoming 23/24 season, the new pitch was severely damaged along with fencing surrounding the pitch and car park gates leading into the ground." www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/jack-camarda?utm_id=66&utm_term=gnkDZZbJV
