Isn't the entire settlement of Ebbsfleet just a big gimmick? It isn't even a place is it? Just a planned city that never happened? Then of course they had the whole My Club thingy. Probably too much competition down there. I'm not surprised they're struggling anyway. Think ebbsfleet is a area, theres a station on hs1 called ebbsfleet international

Think ebbsfleet is a area, theres a station on hs1 called ebbsfleet international Ebbsfleet Station was purpose built for HS1 but is only 1/2 mile from Northfleet Station which still has the "normal" slow services and Gravesend Station has both. The area under development is being called "Thames Gateway" but I'm not aware of anyone who says they live in Ebbsfleet. To be fair Gravesend is quite a historic town and at one time had the highest ratio of pubs to people in the UK; oh and I lived there for 10 years which of course is its main claim to fame

I suppose they are like afc flyde in the sense they are named after area. Mind im sure they changed name long before the dodgy far east owners

Been on the slide since gerrard left I believe that their finances are also going to take a major hit as Arsenal Ladies are going to be playing most, if not all their games at the Emirates rather than Boreham. I'm told that they were paying very good money for the groundshare

The club can confirm that they have parted company with Chris Beech and his assistant Nick Anderton. The club would like to place on record their thanks to both Chris and Nick and wish them all the best in their future endeavours. Club Chairman David Haythornthwaite will be providing an update to the club website on the reasoning, and how the club intend to move forward tomorrow evening. In the meantime, Chris Neal and Nathan Delfouneso will be taking charge of all first-team matters ahead of Tuesday night’s game against Southend United. www.afcfylde.co.uk/chris-beech-leaves-afc-fylde/

Warrington Town can confirm it has accepted the resignation of Mark Beesley from his role as manager. Following discussions last night and this morning, his eight-year run as part of the club’s management team has come to an end. A former Yellows player, who made five appearances in the 2012/13 season, Beesley arrived back at the club as assistant manager to Paul Carden in 2016, before taking over as manager when Carden departed to Telford United in November 2021. Beesley took charge of 139 games, winning 59 of them, overseeing 212 goals, including five in his first league game in charge against Lancaster. At the end of his first season, the Yellows finished 5th in the table and were beaten in the play-off final by Scarborough, after a memorable semi-final win away at South Shields. He will always be remembered as the manager that led the club to the National League North, via winning the Northern Premier League play-off final against Bamber Bridge in 2023, and for a solid first season at step two, finishing 12th in the table. During his tenure, the club has grown with average attendances climbing from 547 in his first season to almost 1,200 last term. Everyone at the club would like to thank Mark for his contribution and wish he and his family all the best for the future. A further statement will be made in the next few days.
