Farsley Celtic (2nd September) The club would like to announce the departure of Clayton Donaldson as Head Team Coach, along with his Assistant Head Team coach Danny Ellis. When making decisions of this kind, a large number of contributory factors are taken into consideration, but ultimately the board works solely for the benefit of Farsley Celtic FC, its development and its future, that’s where our loyalties are and will always be. Danny and Clayton are both registered as players with the club, and we still retain that registration. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank both Danny and Clayton for their efforts and wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Director of Football Pav Singh will take over the reigns as manager, and will be assisted by club legend, club captain and record appearance maker Chris Atkinson as well as UEFA A licensed coach and vice captain Conor Branson. Statement Here - farsleyceltic.com/2024/09/clayton-donaldson-and-danny-ellis-depart-as-head-and-assistant-head-coach/

Ebbsfleet United have today relieved first-team manager Danny Searle of his duties with immediate effect. The Club would like to go on record as recognising the incredible job that Danny achieved last season in saving the club from relegation, after taking over initially as interim manager in February through to that memorable afternoon at Boreham Wood that maintained the Fleet’s National League status. It is with that very status in mind this season, however, that the decision has been made to part company with Danny after a start to the season which has fallen below expectations. Such a decision is never one that is taken lightly or without due consideration – but it must always be taken with the good of the football club in mind. The club would also like to thank Assistant Manager Anwar Uddin for his contribution to the club as he departs the Kuflink Stadium with Danny today. We wish Danny and Anwar every success in their future careers. Both men deserve all our gratitude not only for steering the club clear of relegation last season but for their immense hard work and dedication for the duration of their time at the club. A management update with be provided later this week whilst in the interim, Josh Wright will lead the team from the dugout in tomorrow evening’s fixture v Aldershot. Ebbsfleet job is going to be a real poisoned chalice. Club is losing over a million a year (and has done for some time), the previous owner has handed on within his family and there is far from an obvious choice as successor to Searle. Add to that awful recruitment over the summer and delusions of adequacy amongst the fanbase, it could get very very ugly

I seem to recall when gateshead were in trouble there fans protested alongside gateshead fans, had alot in common

They have plans to totally rebuild and slightly move the ground that were originally tied up with a "Disneyland" type theme park and associated housing etc but that mega project went boobies vertical some months back.

I'm not aware of how Cala operated but did he actually put that sort of money into Gateshead? Whatever you call the Ebbsfleet owners (deluded is my choice) they at least ante up the dosh

Ebbsfleet often paid wages late due to the complex nature of getting funds from abroad apparantly

Isn't the entire settlement of Ebbsfleet just a big gimmick? It isn't even a place is it? Just a planned city that never happened? Then of course they had the whole My Club thingy.
Probably too much competition down there. I'm not surprised they're struggling anyway.

Probably too much competition down there. I'm not surprised they're struggling anyway. It was a rebrand of Gravesend and Northfleet done to tie in with the wider regeneration of the area which has only sort of happened As to competition, yes they have Dartford, Welling, plus numerous step 3,4 and 5 clubs in reasonable proximity but they all have healthy support as the area is so heavily populated
