This is a little bit of an old story, but the club is developing their ground. The club posted on twitter/X this before Xmas: We are delighted to announce that our Second Phase Planning Application for the following additions to our ground has been approved
- Floodlights - 2 x 50 Seater Stands - Gate Cabin - Secured fencing - 2 x Pitch Shelters

Bit of a outpost for a northern league team but best of luck to them Won't be for long since it looks as if Alnwick Town will be returning.

Alnwick clinched a top 5 position and will be promoted back to the northern league. Wouldn’t call Newbiggin an outpost. It’s literally across the A189 from Ashington, and we managed fine.

Looks superb. Add a bit character few advertising boards etc and you'll have yourself a nice little ground there.

From the look of the images, they still need hard standing. But they appear to have done most of the difficult jobs.
