I've heard crowd trouble and kids going on the pitch. Lots of police in attendance outside afterwards too.

The first delay was caused by neanderthal chanting at the lineswoman from young Easington fans... think of the most predictable knuckle-dragger chant you can & you've got it.
The second delay was caused by Blue Star fans fighting each other, I believe.
Away from that there were Blue Star youths lobbing water over the visiting Easington youths, who responded in kind later on. A guy who I think was a Blue Star official (or potentially just a fan wearing a BS polo shirt) standing on the pitch & loudly accusing the Easington youth of having a knife on them, who were then ejected. A flare thrown on the pitch at one point. As we were leaving a gang of Blue Star youths running into the Dene supposedly on the hunt for the earlier-ejected Easington youth just as the police turned up about half an hour too late. Oh, and James Fairley scored a worldy & Easington are coming up!
Don't get this much excitement at Hillheads mind.

A lot of people iITK, believe that BS disappointment will be short lived and they’ll be joining Easington. We’ll all find out sometime next week(probably will)🙏🤞

Disgraceful scenes tonight from both sets of fans. Spoilt a big occasion.
I too heard a lot of whispers tonight that Blue Star will be going up anyway as one of the 6 best placed teams from level 6.

Exactly the same chant & behaviour as on Saturday from the young lads - now they are kids so latitude but the club knew about it cos a lady from the club came and spoke to them [but mainly to a bloke who was swearing at them] but then at the end another lady came & gave them all a packet of crisps and they joined the team celebrating on the pitch. This by the way also witnessed, I think, by Northern league officals Really NOT a good idea to allow under 16s free on own [fine if with an accompanying adult] Beer bottles all over & pyro agogo. Police in profusion at the end tho I didn't see any actual trouble Northern league flagship event lol
