Almost done but level heads until its done ! Yesterdays results have defo helped. no shame in losing up heaton they beat us up there. For the middle aged like me just seeing a competitive side again refreshing and trying to hold the buzz until its done ! Definitely not done just yet. But it's close. Just keep winning blues, that's all we ask!

Another couple of questions then lads, can they wun it, get to play offs with the current squad or need to strengthen, who in the squad can make the step up and, with the clubs success this season do you think the management could be tempted away?

Can win it yes, with a few tweaks here and there. Certainly get the feeling the squad built is secure enough to mount a challenge in league above.
Reckon a few players will leave, possibly by own accord. But on flip side also feel management team will already have a good idea who can cone in and possibly even strengthen us further.
Of course there's always a risk manager could be headhunted.

Burlace will go to Spennymoor johnston 1883 .and carling will be put out to pasture.

It’s a big step up now. Look at last seasons promoted teams as a guide… Ashghanistan lower mid table. Aycliffe just outside play offs, scuppered because they took 6-7 games to get used to the level. Aycliffe have a cracking manager who adapted quickly to the level above.
Pishops will go through a few changes in personnel. The big differences moving up the leagues are organisation, decision making and physical strength. Even when Spenny were in the NL winning everything we struggled in cup games against teams the level above.
Now the gap is bigger and many of the north east’s better players are already at step 4, 3, 2 so competition for signing is much greater.
I think in 3-4 years they could be challenging for promotion.

We've struggled with injuries the last few weeks otherwise we may have finished a little higher up. Just seems lately that the players are knackered and maybe on the beach mentally. And with the gaffer leaving in the summer, there's no need to impress him. Other than that you are right about the step up, it's very physical and not very pretty most of the time. Some good teams are coming down too. Anything mid table or above is a good outcome in your first season, long gone are the days were the teams coming up from the northern league fly through the divisions.

That’s good, sounds like enforced promotion is allowing teams to find their natural level
