I was at Hartlepool tonight. I took my grandson along.
A good game that got a bit scrappy at times, I think Hartlepool deserved their win in the end.
1 thing I was disappointed about was as I was leaving the ground I got toward the area the Blue Star fans were to see them fighting amongst themselves and having to be pulled apart. Very poor and scared my grandson. A number of kids were in the same vicinity as the scuffle and seemed to be very upset. Very unsavoury scenes.

I had to walk round the back of the stand as they were on the path fighting.

North shields 0 Champions 2 gott pen for handball more of a save .must be short on outfield players . Johnstone with the second. Very heavy pitch . Bishop not able to play their usual beautiful football .but 3 points all the same ! Good luck to the rest of the teams in the playoffs!

Whickham 1-2 Redcar
Decent game that petered out after both teams went down to 10 men. Redcar had the better chances earlier on, forcing three decent saves from the home keeper, but Whickham scored just before half time.
2 red cards killed the game a bit. Whickham's Robson seemed angry about an off the ball incident. Didn't see it myself, but then gets a red for being angry. Redcar defender also sent off.
Redcar then scored a goal equaliser and grabbed the winner late on.
Verdict: bloody freezing

Bishops dug deep to find the crucial win today. Pitch a huge leveller in a scrappy game with limited chances.
Bishops found the width in which both goals came from, a penalty after a handball then a move in which thexton combined with Johnson.
Job done and onto Penrith at home next weekend!

Another big win for Tow Law. Northallerton must be dreadful though. Tow law have beaten Northallerton twice. Credit to them surely. RCA are far worse believe me. Tow law to their credit didn’t go to the league asking for time of till they got players in they just got on with it. I for one hope they stay up.
