Heavy rainfall could force an inspection before the Northern League bout. Whilst the pitch at Green Lane is currently deemed playable – thanks to the efforts of superb volunteers – the club is monitoring the situation closely regarding forecast precipitation. Adverse conditions over a number of weeks continue to hamper the pitches upon the Redcar seafront, and any further rainfall between now and kick-off may put the game into doubt. The club would like to note a pitch inspection is likely to take place at midday, and the outcome of which shall be communicated to fans via our official channels at the earliest possible convenience. Should the match be postponed, those who have purchased their tickets online will be able to use such for entrance at the rearranged fixture. We hope to see you all down the Lane at 7:30pm. Onto Saturday now for Bishops'...a crucial home game against the only side to take 3 points off us so far this season, Heaton Stan.

NA's keeper made 3 excellent saves in the shootout....but Whickham's keeper made 4....

I was unlucky enough to be at West Auckland tonight. Worst game I've seen all season and I persuaded 2 mates to join me!
Neither side could make a pass, stop and think what ball was needed, have any composure or indeed skill. West just about deserved the win but the best participants on view were the officials.

Washington humped again 20 goals conceded in there last 2 games none scored. Bad times. Awful last night. Went down to 10 men in the first half but in reality i dont think if they had 11 the score would of been much different. They are in massive, massive trouble, They have a home pitch they can play on going to have to play 3 times a week till the end of the season. I honestly think they have no hope of finishing their games on time. |

How many go down from Division 2. I know the same questions get asked every year but there's never a definitive answer until the last whistle of the season because of clubs folding etc etc etc. Or should i say how many are meant to go down. Shame for washington but they seem to hang in there. When they got that new ground near the hub it was supposed to be all this and all that.

I know the same questions get asked every year but there's never a definitive answer until the last whistle of the season because of clubs folding etc etc etc. Or should i say how many are meant to go down. Shame for washington but they seem to hang in there. When they got that new ground near the hub it was supposed to be all this and all that. Nobody knows as of yet, Was 1 Last year with Sunderland West End getting a reprieve on PPG i think. However a reprieve could be difficult for either Washington or Brandon due to lack of points. |
