I think they'll absolutely walk that league and will be in the Northern League this time next year. The attendances will be interesting but cant be any less than their previous incarnation Redcar Newmarket were getting. Ill imagine itll be a popular venue for groundhoppers who havent been yet.

I think the heat has warped my memory Sorry lads, i meant darlington united. Who exactly is funding them, a pro team would struggle to make it pay at the arena.

I guess they are just renting it from the owners in a match by match basis so don’t have all the overheads that go with it. Similar to Step 6 side Wakefield AFC in the NCEL who used Featherstone Rpvers rugby stadium last season and are using Wakefields rugby one next season

I guess they are just renting it from the owners in a match by match basis so don’t have all the overheads that go with it. Similar to Step 6 side Wakefield AFC in the NCEL who used Featherstone Rpvers rugby stadium last season and are using Wakefields rugby one next season Yeah fair points, although the Wakefield stadium will be large for step 6 its a dam aight smaller than the arena and Wakefield has no other non league clubs, huge potential there. But as for this darlington united, they hoping to get support away from darlington fc and to a lesser extent ra and town. I could not imagine many darlington fc fans will fancy 11th tier football at the are a when there team play away or have no game
