Looks like Yarm and Eaglescliffe will be in for a long season. Have a new NL team ever got immediately relegated by on field results?

I was at West Auckland v Shildon (att 374). All Shildon in the first half when West lacked pace, skill and football nous but they must have had a right rollicking at ht as they were a different side in the second half and were good value for the draw.
It's the second time I've seen Shildon this season and yet again they didn't have a physio; this seems dangerous for their players in the event of an injury and I'm surprised there isn't a FA rule on this

Dont think it matters as to who it is as long as there on the bench.

They’ve faced last season’s runners up, the team that finished 8th and a promoted club with a lot of backing. So it hasn’t been the easiest of starts for them. I’m sure they would’ve liked to have picked up some points by now, but a fair reflection on how they’ll fare is whenever they’ve faced the clubs at the bottom end of the table.

Bishop 7 Benfield 1 . And could of been more .Benfield got away lightly. Craig gott was like a conductor at a orchestra.team starting to gel like a well oiled machine.

You can’t just put anyone down

The league have an officer who looks after the charter standard . If you don’t have a qualified first aider I don’t think you achieve the requirements needed to be a charter standard club which is a requirement to compete in the Northern League . Again I could be wrong but it was when I was Secretary at Birtley.

Shildon had a physio last night, (she was the female on the bench). She was not required on the field.

Tuesday 8th AugustDivision 1Sunderland RCA 0 Whitley Bay 2 (Hall, Suddick) (HT 0-2) Whitley started strongly last night and were 2-0 up after 10 mins with it looking like it may be another long day for RCA, but to their credit they responded well and put up a good fight for the rest of the game & we barely created a chance in the second half. Looked a dodgy call to rule out our 'third' just before half time for offside mind! For any RCA fans on here; do you find teams fare better playing uphill/downhill on the slope or there's not really any noticeable advantage? Both teams were stronger last night while playing uphill, being the reason I ask!

No idea, you will have you ask her. She is a physio, she was on the bench, that's the facts as I know them.
