Good result for Ashington last night.
The first half, Bradford dominated really, putting the Colliers under pressure without really having an opportunity to score.
Second half started much the same. BPA having lots of the ball around the box without creating any clear cut chances. Game changed on 68 minutes when Errington scored on the break, against the run of play. After that the game opened up a lot more. BPA getting the ball around the Colliers box and Ashington hitting them on the break. BPA thought they had equalised in the dying minutes, only for Ross Combe to pull off a fantastic save.
BPA might feel they they should've got something from the game, but the defending from Ashington was fantastic and earned us a good win against a strong team.

Although BPA are a reformed club, the last time Ashington played them in a league game was 1927/28 season in the old Football League Div3N.

Yeah, I knew we'd played them in the Div 3 N, couldn't find the result though.
