What's these two changes about then?
Consett been in bad form for a while but Ashington looked like they were improving based on last nights result, all seems strange?
Will Chris Hardy have to look over his shoulder if Bishops form doesn't improve? Seems hasty this many sackings (that is if the two above are sackings) this early tbh, Bradford PA another who've since sacked manager (Although apparently that one was in the pipeline for sometime).

It’s not clear why the management team left as the statement was vague. I saw people at last nights game had been talking to them afterwards and they gave no indication that that was their last game. I suspect they’ve been offered another job, possibly Spartans. Maybe Consett, but their fans don’t seem to want them back there.

I don't think they will have been offered another job cos they seem to have invested a lot of time etc into Ashington plus too soon to be offered this season I hope our new chair comes out & clarifies

Think you're right that they aren't leaving for another club, and as I say the fans at the game said there was no indication that they were planning to leave on Tuesday. It'll all come out in the wash I'm sure. It'll be interesting to see who applies for the job. Most managers have only just got their teams sorted for the season so unless someone ambitious fancies a crack at a higher level, it might be a case of who is out of a job who fancies it.

Chardy has had to scramble a team together after the majority of the team left.he was let down by 1/2 player's who promised they were staying and when they left a few followed. I for one never wanted promotion. I wanted to stay in the nl forever and play in the vase. Plus being home for tea was a bonus.

You must be the only one, everyone I’ve spoke to is 100% behind progression and for playing at the highest level possible. Just heard that James ‘Munch’ Risbrough is back at Bishops after a short spell at Redcar. Fantastic news !!

Bishop's went for players who all ended up choosing higher leagues or redcar. Jas Sukar was rumour, that apparently was close, and a number of others. I suspect Bishop end up with a few familiar faces returning. I looked the posts regarding Munch returning and alot of fans wany Criag Gott back but I doubt Gott will play more than 10 games this season, wouldn't be shocked to see him on the management side for Bishops
