Spennymoor Town 2 Southport 0.
A second home win for Moors against an unbeaten Southport side with a Glen Taylor double in the second half. Thought Spennymoor looked very good on the front foot, as always Rob Ramshaw is a key player. A bit more shakey at the back with Southport getting in decent positions and forcing some saves out of Brad James. Thought other than those moments 'Port didn't look brilliant, certainly not title contenders, but who knows, I thought Tamworth looked crap last season and they won the whole league.
