As widely expected, midfielder Craig Gott has departed Bishops.
The first signature signing of 2 summers ago Craig has helped transform our fortunes in the pitch.
Never missed a penalty in 2 seasons and added a number of free kicks to his goal tally also.
Well done Craig!!

Left-sided defender / midfielder Jake joins Ryan Catterick and Louis Johnson in commiting to Bishops.
Technically adept for the NPL this is very good news.

Not sure. If he continues to play a return to Marske or Redcar would be a good shout....?

Will be a big misss. A very good player with experience at higher levels. The kind of player bishops should be looking to sign up.

Alexander Walker Has left Crook and signed a 2 year deal at Bishops.

Both 2 year deals.
2 solid signings for the season ahead, welcome to Bishops lads.

Absolutely buzzing with this news and more than makes up for the disappointment of losing Dane Burlace. The management have done a fantastic job to keep him at the club as a number of clubs 2 and 3 leagues higher were very interested in signing him.. Easily the best player in the Northern league last season. He reminds me of a player in the 70's who played for us, a Peter Hindes who went on to play for Dundee Utd. Sorry but I do have to question if you are actually mental! Firstly Peter played very late 80s Secondly the man won 2 conference titles(4levels higher)when the standard was higher 3rd and not least peter was a different colour! Sorry but this may be the oddest post I've seen in my life
