Fellas why is it so many are looking to kick a club when they are down, Boldon are a good club, with some great committed people there. They are obviously going through a bad patch and only those at the helm will know why. In my opinion they need support as thankfully the league seem to be doing, there are much worse than Boldon in the league and I predicted some time ago a lot of clubs will struggle in the future. Couldn't agree more.

The thing is, if the league hadn’t given Boldon a bit of leeway, the same posters would be on here criticising the league for not doing more to help.

The league must step in at some point. I think we all saw this coming though. Let one get away with it and everyone else will follow. Hope they get sorted. Players registered need to rally round and play to get them through the season.

Such a shame for them, their small band of friendly dedicated volunteers had ambitions for many years to get promoted, but first built up their ground, with floodlights and stand etc, they have been it hard with the weather, suffered with destruction of strong winds bring down part of the stand and pitch appears to have little drainage system, remember watching Boldon's 1st half game before watching Bishops at Roofing . So early in the season to be struggling to field team, hopefully former players as well as current will support the club whom have a long unbroken history.

Great reply. Sounds like Boldon are in a bit of a pickle so fair play to the League for helping them get through a tough period. One of the most welcoming clubs you could visit. Knowing the lads at Boldon they won’t be taking the piss unlike last season. Be interesting to see if Boldon are given the same lienency as Brandon and North Shields. I for onehope they are. looking bleak. Chairman wrapped last night. If they fold or resign, they will nominally be placed bottom at the end of the season.

As Baxter plays for Whitley Bay and Drummond for Marske they've got that wrong. Baxter scored the second for Whitley to put them 2-1 on the strike of half time, and Drummond scored the late own goal.

League website has a glitch around own goals, the above issue has surfaced a few times this season.
At least it’s on there.
Unlike Billingham Synthonia’s and Chester le Street United’s recent Durham Challenge Cup fixtures.
Think the media team are focussing on their little money making venture The Football Pink rather than the day to day business of the League!
